Anyone else had trouble disabling vsync? I've added the iPresentInterval=0 command with no luck.

Might just be the way you worded it, but you don't actually add the line iPresentInterval=0, just find it and modify the 1 to 0 if you want it off :).

Thanks Neil79 for the thread, very useful info compilation. This is the first game I've preferred with mouse acceleration though, usually I turn it off. With Skyrim, the X-axis is fine, but the Y seems much slower if that makes sense. When I look up and down it feels as though I'm having to move the mouse twice the distance for vertical looking.

Ok I have a great tweak for the horrible shadows.

Go to skyrimprefs.ini

Find the lines:

ishadowmapresolutionprimary
ishadowmapresolutionsecondary

Delete both of them and replace them with:

ishadowmapresolution=4096

Then find the line:

fShadowDistance

Set this to 2500.0000

I found when setting ishadowmapresolution to 8192 and reducing the distance to 1500 I get even nicer shadows although their distance is obviously greatly reduced.

With the sharpen effect + AA mod I get stuttering, msi afterburner OSD doesn't work and DXoverrider doesn't work either.

Other members reported it aswell

The ONLY thing I would like is to be able to call my horse to me. Other than that, it doesn't need anything modded.

Flawless performance for me too but unless you've been living in a cave all of your life, beth's latest games have ALWAYS been modded. There is nothing wrong with the mouse tweaks and higher detailed shadows.

People overclock brand new top of the line systems, so...

EDIT : Reinstalled game....
