But I will say I did find some cool whine today, took your advice and pressed by ear up next to the GPU and could hear some y could whine while running Unigine Heaven benchmark.
It's still quietest whine I've ever had on a GPU - I only heard because: 1) I turned my fans case fans down to the lowest rpm they will go, turned off speaker volume, took off the side panel from the case and got my ear right up against the GPU. If I put the side panel back on, can't hear it. If the side panel is off and sit at my chair, can't hear it. If my case fans are spinning at normal 1000rpm, can't hear it and if speakers are on, can't hear it. Compared to the rtx3090 I had a few weeks ago, I could have the side panel on, fans on, speaker game volume on and I'd still hear coil whine unless input headphones on
