Topping up a o2 payg

Hiya

Anyone know if i can use the voucher system but ring up and use the code from dialling on a different phone?

I'm giving someone a spare o2 genie sim i have and want to top it up before i give it them but would prefer not to open the pack and use the sim if i could help it

Oh yeah i've not got any money in my bank till end of this month only cash at the minute so can't use my bank card unless i deposit money which is my final option

yup its possible, did it for my mate when he was on holiday an ran low on credit, when u get the voucher it will have 2 numbers to ring, the first one being 4444 an the second one being the one you want, ring the 2nd number an select the option of top up, then enter the number of the sim you want to top up an then the code
