It's down to preference and personal experience, personally in my case only one brand ie MSI motherboard died on me, Asus I 've is going strong after 13 years yes 13 years. My present new (last October) Asus B650E Gaming E board has no issues and is rock solid even with exp 1 on. End of the day I based my decision on pricing and features I need, then make a list of boards I'm interested in, I would consider MSI again but at the time or even now no MSI B650E boards around and Asus was top contender for price and features in my case (also never let me down in my case, even if they did they would still be on my list), however as I stated any brand/model can fail, it does not make them bad, all brands have failures end of the day, that is why I still look at wide range of brands , all down to pricing and features.
