Hi there, i'm looking at getting a monitor, I generally don't want to be spending anymore than £250, and essentially wanna save where possible. However I do want a good monitor.

I was looking at the following, they all receive good reviews from other posts made from here.

Samsung S23A750D 23" 120Hz 3D Widescreen Ultra Thin LED Monitor - Glossy Black

Samsung S23A700D 23" 120Hz 3D Widescreen Gaming Monitor - Black

Benq XL2420T 24" TRUE 120Hz 3D Vision 2.0 Widescreen LED Monitor - Black/Red
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MO-051-BQ

Benq XL2410T 24" TRUE 120Hz 3D Widescreen LED Monitor - Black
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MO-043-BQ&groupid=17&catid=510&subcat=

Asus VG23AH 23" 3D IPS Widescreen LED Monitor - Black
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MO-037-AS&groupid=17&catid=1425&subcat=

Just adding this 27" monitor in to see what others think.

BenQ G2750 27" Widescreen LCD Monitor - Black

Basically 23-24" monitor size, I know some prices are higher than the £250 set, however I would wait for a price drop somewhere and get it then.
I want to be gaming at '1920x1080' res, and @ 120Hz.

So if you could provide input on what you would personally recommend, i'd be much appreciated.

Cheers

If you want 120hz gaming you can forget about the Asus 23" IPS.

Samsung: - 12-18ms input lag (high imo) + good pixel response + good colours out of box

Benq: + low input lag and pixel response - high overshoot - uniformity / backlight issues - poor colours require professional calibration

There is no perfect 120hz display current on the market. If you want the fastest go Benq. If you want the prettiest go Samsung. If you have £500 and want both, get the Asus vg278h.

The Asus vg236h was and still is the best 120hz made. I'd keep an eye out for one second-hand.

The LG W2363-D is the best picture quality i,ve seen from a 120Hz screen ,sadly they stopped making them :( but my nephew has a Benq screen and its not as good picture quality as my LGW2363-D plus is way cheaper ! Looks are not always what the screen performace like ,its a great selling point though ha!
