Z690 GAMING X DDR4 Nvme slots

Hi I have the above board running unraid on it, can anyone tell me if there would be any problems if I remove a couple of sata ssd drives and replace them with nvme ones and if so do I need heat sinks on them as they will be fitted under the boards nvme cover ?

Hi .

You don't need nvme heatsinks as the motherboard nvme cover acts as such.

As for unraid I'm unsure if you will have problems with your array .

Are you planning to RAID the two NVME, or RAID the NVME with SATA drives? So far as I know, you can enable RAID on either (SATA or NVME), but I'm not sure you can RAID them all together.

Will be running solely unraid so no raid as I know it
