He didn't mention that accidents because of excessive speeding are very rare though.

I wouldn't go as far as saying invincible - the re-incarnation of Fangio maybe (extra life if they know who Fanigo was :) )

140 indicated probably only 125... but the MR2 video.. what terrible driving. And worse than that, the driver appears to be making the video... If people are going to drive fast, they should at least be concentrating on driving, not making home videos! What a moron.

I had an indicated 135 out of my mk6 Escort 1.8 Si (still had revs to go), I don't believe that reading was at all accurate, so a vid showing 140 in an Escort is probably possible; would guess the real speed was about 25mph lower than that though, maybe more.

where do you get that from? with the correct rubber any mid engined rwd car will grip............................ then let go its just not a progressive loss of traction.

Never had problems in mine the 4 years I have had it.

Back on topic, these people are idiots with the growing number getting done by the plod these days you would have thought that if they wanted to do that speed then its a stupid idea to post it on the tube.
