TV Card - Compro or Hauppauge

Get a Hauppauge around the £30-40 mark because they have Fab support i mean they support all operating systems (xp xp-x64 vista x86 and vista x64)

Actually they have terrible support, they told their customers for months that they were in the process of making 64bit vista drivers for the Nova-T PCI. Then one day they just came out and said they've decided they won't be making those drivers, and have lost a lot of customers in the process.

I thought that was the case with Hauppauge.

I will have a look at some other ones before buying anything.

I have had several hauppage cards
Nova-T
Nova-T 500
PVR 350

I have owned several ATI cards with capture / tuners

I also own a compro T 300 ( same as 200 but with additional analogue / composite input )

I would recommend the hauppage above the others , the compro has terrible drivers and its pretty much useless ( mine is a paper weight cos recordings always have breakup issues)

Only reason i said they have good support is coz i have a HVR 1100 (it looks like a bit of pizza in your rig lol) and it works on vista x64 and xp 64 fine for me.

All there new products are fine with support it is just the old one they don't
