Curious phone call

Right the i just answered the phone and this bloke wanted to know to speak to my granfer but he was out. But from the what the bloke said he knew that he was out, so did they go to see him? The bloke said he was from barratts, something like that. Then he said is this darren, i said no, so he knows about my grandparents and my uncle.
What is going on?

Ok they just come back in and i told my garnfer to ring them back. They then went off back out to town again letting slip thats why they went to town to see that man. They left a carrier bag with a folder so im gonna go have a little snoop.
