Hi guys, for the last six months i have been using Lou Schulers "The new rules of lifting" which i will say has helped me a lot.
But its started to get far too complicated, the tempo has to keep changing and the reps keep changing each workout (meaning i keep having to drop the weights for the high rep workouts), is this really important?
Plus the work gym is only pretty basic for free weights as it only has a full set of dumbells and a bench.
I was wondering if anyone could possibly share with me a routine that might help my situation? Perhaps a legs/trunk and arms/chest split (each one once a week)?
Im happy doing squats, deadlifts are difficult with dumbells though (any tips?), chin ups, dips, lat pulldowns, incline dumbell bench press etc.
Any advice appreciated.
Cheers
