BMW Crash beside The Oaks Hotel, Alnwick

Luckily nobody was walking past the hotel or they would be dead now, hope he has some serious injuries for racing on public roads, sub human scum.

Well it could have been quite horiffic as if you look in the first photo. You'll see a woman with a pushchair and small child who was just moments away from crossing the road there!

BeatMaster :D

The guy has been punished for his actions in the best way possible - he no longer has a nice, shiney M3, and nobody bar himself was injured.

WHo's to say that it wasn't the Subaru driver who initiated the race (or have I missed something)? But regardless of who started it, if indeed they were both willingly racing, shouldn't both drivers be charged with dangerous/reckless driving?

Maybe they knew each other if they had been at it in town; they are both gonna be feeling real crummy now.

Problem is that there is no evidence that any race took place.

Whats the difference between a race and two unconnected cars speeding?

No apart from half a wall missing a toppled M3 which doesn’t usually happen round a corner at 30 ;)

Speeding/racing is there much difference?

Edit/ It seems to be straight I first thought it was on a corner! That makes it worse ;P

Glad no-one was knocked over, could have been messy :(

Btw - you sure he wasn't racing a Honda? VTEC, (yo!) power can often brush other road users away

Drive like a **** and face the consequences.

Becuase you never used the performance of your 2 litre Corsa in an ill-judged place?

There is a fine line between having a moment and getting away with it and sliding your M3 up the road on its side. It's unacceptable behaviour but it's far from unique unacceptable behaviour only practiced by the subhuman.

Interesting tyre wear. Half the tyre like a slick the other half looks fine

Bet he feels like a bit of a plum :o
