8500 GT + P4 3.2 ??

As in the title would a 8500 GT be ok for a p4 3.2 , 2gb ddr ive heard about bottlenecking but would this run ok.

The only issue i have is it has to fit in a shuttle and the psu is 350w. A friend has done something similar and not had any problems yet just wondering what you guys thought?

please dont buy the 8500gt its a terrible card get the X1950 pro its much much better

Considered a 8600GT? Got a 8500GT (GDDR3 version

) & it struggles with some titles at higher res, etc.

But, both cards are short & don't require extra power, i.e PCI-E slot power is enough

Thanks for the help guys i dont have a problem with ati cards just the issue is fitting it in

And yea 8600's are also an option but from what ive seen they are nearly + £50 on a 8500 would it really make much of a difference performance wize?
