im after a tattoo

who do you body modders recommend around the mids

im after a playing cards/stars/dice tat with maybe my dogs head in it down my right shoulder.......or sommit :confused: :D

any suggestions of a good un welcome

doesnt sound like your really sure what you want to get inked on yourself... do you need to vision the design a bit more maybe ?

Id pick a handful of local artists and visit them to lookat their acctual pictures of healed tat's.
 
ive got new skool stuff and its way to bright with way to thick powerlining to be doing a fine line portrait.
 
got myself booked in monday at 2 o clock for a 3 hour session on my leg, the woman that does it did one on my back as well and she is fantastic

im in Sheffield though so that is probably no help to you what so ever :p

Neoni is right though i cant see how mixing the two things you want would work at all, would be like putting the Mona Lisa in the middle of a room decorated by Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen :p
 
Think about this long and hard, you obviousley havent. If you want a portrait of your dog, get that seperatley. As mentioned they wont go well together. As opposed to dice and common stars put some more thought into it so it could have some meaning. Check out BME.com.

as far as im aware, the miami ink studios are closing due to arguments.

also theres no living chance you would get a booking with them.

that is even if you were willing to travel that far and spend that amount of money.

i have been to dragon tattoos twice now,the gf once and her mum twice, just got back from a nice big piece down my leg

its just down from the manor top on the 41 route

very pleased with the work, i have diana do mine, ever such a nice woman and really takes her time and takes pride in her work
 
I'm no tattoo expert (I don't have any) but a good friend of mine had a Kurt Cobain tattoo on his forearm, which was done by 'Dannys Tattoo Studio' (google it for exact location) based in Nottingham.

The chap who runs it, Danny (amazingly...) is, so I've been told, quite famous in the tattoo world.

dont think there closing, Kat left tho due to arguements and personal reasons with ami, and her not liking miami, Think shes got her own shop now tho called LA ink or something


Get to london :).....London Ink starts tomorrow :)

If anyones after someone in the manchester area and dont mind waiting a fair few months id go to Lou Molloy, Middleton tattoo studio, AMAZING
