Has Xenons, ESP, Cruise etc as standard. It's been slightly fettled with as it has a remap, a diff cold air intake, diff filter, rear ARB and 312mm brakes (seen below). Should be around 180-185bhp depending on the map that was used. Getting this verified in a couple of weeks at an RR.

Not much to say really. Lots more torque than the CTR, slower obviously, handling was abysmal in comparison but the rear ARB has helped a LOT (massively heavy diesel engine above the front two wheels...!).

Swapped due to an impending change of jobs (doubling from 50 miles to 100 miles a day).

Get about 600 miles a tank, £115 a year tax and low insurance. Helps me save up for the FD2/350Z/Z4M that I plan to get next... MUHAHA.

Nice motor but other than the fuel economy I can't really imagine that being suited to long commutes.

Looks nice though and should be pretty pokey with the remap.

Surprisingly it is. comfy seats, no rattles, xenons, cruise and so on.

Doesn't need leather or 3 extra foot at the back to make it comfortable.

Mebbe some 17" ones? ;)

Nah too big for the fabia I reckon (Blag!!).

Be interesting to see what bhp it gets at the rr. Those fabias are little pocket rockets!! :D

Nice car. I bought one myself as a second car a few weeks ago. It's been remapped to 181bhp (I've got the RR printout), but has a sports clutch as the standard one started to slip after 20k remapped. Is yours slipping yet or has it been changed?

Not too sure on the 600 miles to a tank though. The tank only holds 45 litres. 600 miles from completely full to completely empty would be 60.5mpg. Mine will happily give 50mpg, but the only way it'll get above that is to drive everywhere at 40mph. :p

I'm thinking about fettling with mine eventually. Audi TT 312mm brakes and a rear ARB are at the top of the list.

Do you take much of a hit on the CTR? I know it wasn't very old after all the shenanigans with Honda.

Nice car for nipping into town and wasting boyracers off the lights but I wouldnt want to do 100 miles a day in it.
'Off the lights' isn't where the vRS is at its best. It handles motorway miles surprisingly well too - I'd happily do 100 miles a day in mine.

The OP got the best colour too! ;)
