we kill people
but only bad people.

That's not quite true now is it :p ...we kill anyone we can who isn't blue to us (i.e. friendly) ...well most of us do anyway. And the blue list is fairly short, mostly just the people we share our immediate surroundings with.

We are not pirates though, we do not kill for profit, and we do not take, indeed ever ask for, ransoms. We kill because we enjoy pvp and quite frankly ...if you're hanging about in Syndicate you're either after the same thing we are (pvp) or you're going to go and pick on someone smaller than you anyway. One way or another, Syndicate is full of blood thirsty killers; weather they be in the form of career pirates, full time pvpers, part-time pvpers, part-time pirates, wanders or just alliance guys passing through. Syndicate is not the place to go if you want to avoid ship to ship pvp, indeed, it’s usually where people go to find it. Although there are some very quiet corners, but you'll likely have to fly through a firestorm to get to them.

someone from the same corp as me got 'scammed' out of 500mill when they thought they could buy a navy mega (at about 500mill) and insta sell it on contract for 1bill. they mis-read the sale price and sold it for 1 mill. I laughed at him when he said he mailed the scammer to ask for it back.

Thats not really scamming though, the buyer never attempted any disception, it was just lack of reading and numerical skills by the person in your corp. No one forced them to sell it for 1mil :D

Can't beat a bit of market PvP.

Propper market scamming is those people who get like normal ravens and put em up for 650mil and name the auction CNR or Navy Raven etc.

I been playing EVE for a while now and I have 5.6million sp

Currently I run solo mining ops out of the in the yria system in caldari space. I am aiming to be in a hulk by early september. Currently I am training mining barge 5 and have around 14 days left to go. All other pre reqs are trained. I can also run L3 missions in my drake quite easily and have average support skills trained

My IGN is Upde and I am alos on the look out for a UK based corp. I was in a corp for a very short time but I think it folded while i was on holiday as when I got back i was in the NPC Perkone corp.

If anyone in here is recruiting new members to a UK corp could you drop me a line either here on send me an EVE mail. Character name is Upde. I haven't comitted any acts of piracy and my security rating is curretly 0.7. I also have a decent rating with the caldari navy (7.6)

If your interested in a non-PVP corp. which your skills seem to suggest you could indeed check us out. Link in my sig and on the page you'll find all the information you need.

If not drop me and evemail in game or join the OcUK channel ingame.

Revelations 2.2 deployment has been scheduled to next Tuesday

And the patch notes have been released

Quite a few good fixes being applied, including,

Interdictor bubbles preventing warp even if the target is already aligning for warp.

Being able to warp to a gang member by clicking in space/overview instead of in gang chat.

Overview should update faster/on its own when warping around/cancelling warp.

Quieter warp sounds have also been added

:)

just got into my first deimos, and so far this is what I've got put together for it.

5 T2 Ions (void, null and some fed. Antimatter in the cargo)
1 t2 Small ***

1 10mm t2 Mwd
1 fleeting webber
1 t2 warp disruptor

1 t2 medium armour rep
1 t2 DCU
1 T2 ex hardner
1 RT 800 plate
1 t2 Mag Stab
1 T2 cpr

1 pg rig
1 ccc rig

So far I havent had a lot of time to test it, the damage seems decent, and the cap does ok if I dont have to run the mwd too much, I'm thinking of dropping the cpr for another magstab or eanm, but at this point I'm not sure.

Just looking for suggestions/opinions on the setup

^ Deimos is being buffed also :D

Corpses, Wrecks and cans have had their properties adjusted so that ships will pass straight through them.

woah!!!

The Tactical Shield Manipulation skill now correctly prevents bleed through according to its description. OMFG!!!! at last it has been fixed!!!!

exactly why I bought it now, I expect the price to go up after the boost. Awsome boost too, more speed less wieght and more pg :D.

One of the best patches ever I think if it stays this way.

page 5

prices of the ships went up within minutes of the patch notes being released. did they go up again today? I've not logged on/cba to check.

Anyone here going to be involved in the tourny?

I'm enjoying this years more than the last two. Some matches are a little bit boring with jsut a mass of daps and fof's on all sides but some of the close range fights like the iss deimos's or the f4t4l throaxs were quality.

I'm hoping f4t4l do well (ex-corp) and since infod aren't competing i'm gonna with cruel intentions for the win :)

Outdamaged and outtanked by a myrmidon. :(

Not sure whether to use a tracking disruptor or a sensor dampener though. I suppose the sensor dampener means it takes people ages to target my drones, giving me time to scoop and recharge their shields. :o
