Shocking abuse of a car in London

Can we lay off this cancer nonsense?

They are vandals, pure and simple. If I built a wall and someone knocked it down out of pure vandalism then I expect recourse in the form of compensation and a new wall. Why is this so different?

Yes, it's pathetic of them, yes it drags society down, yes it pushes premiums up but please get some perspective here.

No. I'd expect a new wall, I'd also expect their heads on a silver platern.

You may think I'm being immature but I don't think you quite appreciate how mad it makes you. A few weeks after my dad got his new 530d, we walked back to where it was parked and all the windows were smashed in, as were the windows of EVERY car in that street. Witnesses said a bunch of asian youths simply smashed the windows of each car and moved on. I personally hope they do get cancer and die, but I guess I'm alone. In fact I hope they get clubbed to death in the same way they smashed up the cars.

I guess all you can do is know you have a better life than them and laugh at how pathetic they are. The fact is if people weren't so damn soft with these people (aw they didn't know better, let them off the hook etc) and came down HARD on these idiots, society would slowly start heading in the right direction. I personally think they should be locked up for 6 months and I think HARSH punishments are the only way forward. They also send out the message to others that society will not tolerate this.

Cancer is a bit extreme but I can't say it wouldn't satisfy me if one of them got hit by a bus running across the road to the next automotive victim!

It's not like they're 15 year old chavs either (well, the cameraman weiner sounded like one), they're old enough to bloody know better  Society is doomed. The human race is doomed.

Oh, so Cancer is extreme but getting smashed up by a passing bus isn't :D

Retards, why why do it.

Kids in Bristol (well I say kids), smashed up about 15+ cars on Flton avenue the other day. Apparently they then continued on there destruction on 3 side roads as well. Auto Glass must have had a field day. All there vans where there trying to repair the damage.
Yeah saw that on the news, idiots.

I'm sure the guys in this thread will get something coming their way, with the amount of people looking into it.

I don't get this ideology. When I see a nice car in the street, I stop to admire it, maybe comment. I don't feel any desire to trash it. Indeed, I remember walking back through Soho one night with friends and stopping to gawk and exclaim at some Aston Martins we saw parked in the street.

Hope the idiots who did it get caught. Tossers :/

You belong to the section of society composed of people who actually deserve to live.

They are a disease.

Ok. Have it your way.

You will feel the same way if one of your belongings gets smashed up. Some people are attached to their cars. They invest a lot of money in them, they work very hard to save up this money, and it is a luxury item.

That doesn't stop immature childish comments ruining this thread though.

This infuriates me big time.

Back in Leamington my parents' house is in a nice part of town, but sadly on the pub route back to the scrubby areas. If you leave your car out like that then there's a high chance somebody will run over it, or scratch it. Thankfully I have a garage when I pop home for the weekend. Police will hardly ever get involved, too much effort.

I really don't understand the mentality. They have no sense that what they think is "a bit of a laugh" is soul destroying for the car's owner.

I'm hoping they'll find his car, then do something similar. We'll see how funny he finds it then!

Hopefully the Sun will run with the story and this will pressure the police into taking action, normally people are made an example of like with the speeding videos.

What with the media's obsession with Youtube related stuff, it should get a fair bit of publicity too!

Immature? Only as far as your concerned. If the people involved died for whatever reason, I would smile to myself. I don't like people like that walking the same streets I do and breathing the same air I do, it's that simple. They are scum, period.

Now please don't label people childish and immature until you have been involved in such an incident and know what it feels like.

I'm sorry but while I can fully understand how annoyed people can be, saying things like 'I hope they get cancer and die' is immature.

As goverened by what? Would it be immature for me to say something like: I hope another bunch of yobs smash up something belonging to them?

Is the very concept of revenge immature then?
