the way i think of it is along the lines of bioshock, that was supposably well defined for all cards (as ive heard, ive yet to activate mine) meaning that crysis will be the same as, i think youll be fine, someone of the likes with a x1600 should worry about low res medium settings

It wasn't so much of a "How" it will run...
More of a will it ACTUALLY run...
Big difference if you are not in the know.
and now I have learned something.
It will at least be backwards compatible to some extent.

It is supposed to scale back 2 years and forward 1.5, if that is any help. Going on the experience of bioshock, dx9c minimum and x1950 Pro/x1800 XT/7900 GT looks to be a sensible minimum, depending on how you like your textures...
