Are there any real differences in terms of features between the x1950pro and what I believe are the older x1800 and x19xx cards? Reason I ask is I'm on the lookout for an second user x1950pro but there don't seem to be any about at the mo but have seen x1800 and x19xx cards listed so was wondering if they are worth a punt. :)

I think then it's the x1950pro I need as my PSU is a weedy Enermax 435w jobbie and think it might have a PFC fit if I installed a power hungry card :)

Thanks for the reply by the way.

oh and also the fastest of the bunch (although older than the 1950) is the 1900 series. Never worked that one out myself - my 1900Xt card still flies through anything i chuck at it on high - max settings on all the latest games! - 2 1950's will be lovely though. Good luck with the search, a system like that will do you proud for many months to come.

I'd have a look at the spec label on that psu, I've a 460w Enermax which has 33A @ +12v, not bad for a five year old supply.

A single PCI-E card is pushed to take more than 150w (75 board + 75 plug) so you should have a good range of cards you can install.
