I managed to pick up a copy of the suffering on Xbox for £1.99!! Disk was perfect, but the packaging had been lost, So it was in a 'company' box with the name written on it. But for the sake of printing a proper cover it was a bargain as i've never played the game!!

Anyways, I had it on the other day, and i was loving it. And i died.

Tried again... and I died.

Tried again.. And I died.

So then I cheated. Like a fool, I dunno why. I'm honestly not one for using cheats!!

I got past the area I was stuck, and then some. And since then, I've got bored of the game, And i honestly believe its down to the fact I cheated.

I know its easy enough to start a new game! And i probably will do now, But i think i've taken a lot of the scary eliment out of the game now i've cheated. Because I know whats coming now.

pffffffffft, Here's some advice to all people out there, Never cheat. It spoilts games. Atleast finish a game once before punching cheat codes in.

Sorry to rant, But it's gutted me a little bit :D

Has anyone else had this kind of experience from cheating in games? It's just completely spoilt the game for them?

I think the only game i ever cheated on is G-Police on the original playstation, damn that game was hard, but it was such a nice looking game(at the time) and the concept was rather cool.

I think i was stuck on mission 31 or 32 andi must have replayed the mission like 40 times, the old games had no auto save so when you failed it was back to the start so it was pretty frustrating. Some of the previous missions i got stuck on aswell, just not to the same extent. Im not sure if it was due to cheating or not but soon after i stopped playing and sold it(which i kinda regret now as i would have liked to have completed it properly), i didnt even bother to complete it after i used the cheats. So i guess you could say i stopped playing it due to cheating

That's one of the games I always mention in 'What game would you like to see remade?' threads.

That was a cool game and I thought it was better too, however G-Police was Cool! That would be awesome on current-gen.

loved that game on ps1 :D

as for cheating only time i ever cheat is when ive tried missions 20 or more times and cannot get past it but i usually find a walk through first last game i cheated or read a walkthrough was graw 2 because the game wouldnt complete the mission think it was act 7 or something but turned out many people had the same bug :o
