i've still no idea, but im off to play on thursday..so might come up with something.. working on the car in the mean time!
 
I've just posted up my first of these I've entered! Regularly browse through the P&V section but rarely post.

I'm not expecting or even hoping good marks, but another interpretation of the subject can't be bad! ;)

Can I ask why?
I don't get placeholders... if theyre done this month and it's a kinda "If I don't get anything better" thing then OK... but when it's not even a possible entry what's the reason?

Honestly just curious.
 
It confuses me as well. I can understand people wishing to get an entry in that may be replaced if they take something better later. But entering a photo that will be DQ is just madness. Also I must stress that the time you enter your photo has no bearing on the marking, all photos are marked in alphabetical order based on user name.
 
i suppose it makes no sense really, only to encourage me to make sure i go out and take something good.

still struggling with this one, and my car has been getting more attention than the camera.

i don't wanna do *another* reflected image.. got an ace photo of me.. but i didnee take it, and it was taken too long ago. other than that, atm - i got nothing!
 
Great shot Helium_Junkie... very nicely done indeed.

I have a good idea for this months photo comp but am currently let down by the mechanics of composition and lighting.
Really frustrating as I spent some of Saturday night shooting images with nothing of use produced.

I'll be guttered if I have to go with another choice :(

I think people like the idea of a position on the first page and near the top for impact - of course you have just sunk this idea in a big way xolotl :p
 
I've thought of three or four really decent ideas for this one since the subject was chosen, it's just implementing them that's the problem!
 
i'm still playing wit ideas. off to a location on saturday that might prove useful.
