Cevat believes that GeForce 8800 GTS or Radeon 2900 will be good for running Crysis at 1280 resolutions on maximum settings but for 1600x1200 or higher you'll need faster hardware.

Lucky I have a new card coming ;)...:D, Sucks that you need even faster hardware to max it out, I guess GTS/2900 users will have to turn down the AA. Still im sure you can run it close to max with AA and still have it look beautiful.

this is one game where the graphics you see will justify the need for the hardware, not like the crappy ports which have hit the pc latley.

probably just disable shadows and hope for a major speed boost.

Quad core at 3.6ghz and a heavily overclocked 8800GTS 640 mb should see this run nicely at 1680x1050 hopefully

Well some nice news, I'm happy if I can run at my native res of 1680*1050 with 4xAA, maybe more if perforance allows :).

What new card have you got coming Tom?, a 2nd 2900?.

Was going to yes, decided to plump for the Ultra which will offer similar xfire performance I know xfire performs a bit better but I don't have the cash to blow on that and a PSU. So went for the best I could. Plus Im bored of 2900/GTS performance level I want more, more! :D , providing the deal I have goes through OK, I should have the Ultra in a week or so, Just in time for the Crysis Demo anyway *drools*
