Yes, but they are collectors items and are usually quite expensive, but bargains can often be found on auction sites.

Why not buy a current model? the new updated crane (which looks awesome!!) is £90 quid. There are a couple of older models which are cheaper, but not as good.

I had that one when I was 12! Loved Lego. Ive seen pictures of whole Lego towns people have built. I am not ashamed to admit that had I the time and money, I would build my own!

was it a realistic looking red bike with rather slim looking wheels, suspension and the little cylinder things? i also had that one. i also had one of the earlier pneumatic ones, was a red construction vehicle with a claw which was also pretty cool as well as the crane

Snap. Every birthday for years I'd get a Lego Technic kit and build it. I love the stuff.

Are the younger generation of children still into technic? i assume it still sells to some degree or another or it wouldnt be produced anymore but i doubt its a popular as it was back in the 90s.

If not thats really a shame as even with all the technology and computers of today nothing beats building something as cool as that from little blocks and being able to play with it after. Nothing compared to the sense of achievement i got when completing a model and building the models was so much fun when i was younger.

Any forum members bought technic for their kids?
