Randomly exciting thing for me that maybe half a dozen people will 'get'

Samppa does some amazing work. Really pushing what's do-able and what becomes mainstream eventually.

Come on Penski, are you having something done?

I wouldn't have thought so necessarily, he could be visiting simply for the sake of visiting and seeing more about the process or to discuss ideas. I don't know anything much about this Samppa guy but I somehow doubt that merely walking into his shop means you get held down and immediately scarified.

I'm even less keen on the idea of scarification than tattoos because the idea of stripping of bits of skin does not appeal in the slightest but some of the work looks very cool all the same. :)

//edit what sort of microdermals? My ex-flatmate got a teflon mushroom surgically implanted.

i think it's disgusting, certainly wont look good qhwn they're old and wrinkly

Yeah but who does look good when they are old and wrinkly? A grandma in her bikini is a nightmare whether she has Tat's or not.


Penski, what microdermals are you getting? I remember seeing picture of a bloke with a studded Mohawk screwed into his skull a few years ago. Extreme but very cool.

I'm sure im just misunderstanding (don't know what microdermals are) but this just makes me laugh, all i can think about is a man with a large mushroom on his forehead :(:p:D

Edit:done some googleing, an they look quite good (never have one though >.>) what you going to have on the end or you getting a bunch of different ends?

Sort of. :D Except you are wrong on every essential detail, my ex-flatmate is a girl and it was a fairly small mushroom implanted just about the breastbone sort of region (fairly high on the chest), it just looked like a blob of lumpy skin for quite a while until the swelling had settled a bit. It seems like a fairly safe procedure as you are awake during it and the end results can look quite striking if not to everybodies taste. :)
