10 golden years

Yeah theres a lot of issues with MS owning Rare and Activision having the bond license, doubt it'll ever see a VC release without Ninty paying a substantial amount of money to do so.

Nintendo Published Goldeneye for the N64 so I don’t see Rare being the main problem with getting the game on the VC, it’s probably got more to do with Activision owing the right to the bond franchise.

Goldeneye truly was the best game ever made, others like Perfect dark, Ocarina of time were trully the best games ever made, and the games that got me into gaming and were truly addictive i will never forget, Super mario world and Lylat Wars.

Yeah, it'll never come to the virtual console unfortunately - too many licensing issues. A second hand N64, pads and a copy of the game shouldn't set you back that much, however. The only real issue is finding multiplayer competitors with a similiar appreciation and nostalgia for the the game as yourself.

I'm very fond of Goldeneye the film. I often wonder whether, having only seen the film after playing the game, my appreciation stems from this fact... Is it an average movie?

It is quite a good bond film.. and im a big bond fan.

What have free radical actually done since Future perfect? i know they're doing Haze but have they done anything else since?

i think Rare are a lot better tbh, Kameo and Viva Pinata are both superb games, far better than stuff like Second Sight and Timesplitters (ok i know a lot of people like it, but i dont :P)

I think both teams are nowhere near as good as when they were one. Rare just seem to have lost their magic.

Goldeneye, donkey kong64, supermario64, banjo kazooie, banjo tooie, perfect dark, ocarina of time, majoras mask, ahh them were the days. All of these classics imo. Ive still got my n64 stored away, think I'll have to get it out sometime.

I sold my N64 way back when to fund a pre-order on a GC.
Picked up another a year ago, for £12 with two controllers, the expansion pack, goldeneye & 1080.:p.

Same here, I watched the film after the game. In fact, its my fav bond film of all time, followed by Casino Royale.
