Eve Online - Who's still playing?

Just hit 16 Million skill points and im ratting my way to a set of carrier skill books in anticipation of some sweet anti-BoB action in the south once i get back to college and quit my crappy job.

Big laggy/desyncy, or the occasional good one, fleet battles, boring pos war, and great small gang fun.

Have moved on to my own corp in lowsec blowing up a lot of newbies with unfortinatly crappy loot while dodging the antipies/whoever wants to kill me after each kill.


Its a great game, great fun at times and absolutly terrible at others, but I still love it despite being less active atm (as in only being on a few hours a day rather than every free hour of the day)

I dabbled with EVE but don't really have any notion of what you are talking about :p
 
I dont see my self leaveing any time soon. Though I have run out of usefull skills to train. Not much to do but roleplay and wait for the next bit patch.
 
been playing since the end of April 06 so 1 year and 5 months and have 20.5Mill SP

own around 10 bill in assets and potter around here and there (afew clones in empire and 1 clone in 0.0), at war with Privateers and spanked a harbringer the other day, woo.

I've been playing just over a year myself. Got 16m SP (with over half of that in Gunnery :p). On a bit of a break at the mo, getting a bit bored, got better stuff to do, but I'll still be switching skills when EVEmon tells me to, so if I do come back there'll be more stuff open to me. Ingame name is the same as my forum name, and I'm an ebil space piwate. \o/

Yeah episode 3 or 4 I think it was. I still hold the crown for the only non-bleeped swearword, they missed one ;) of my many outbursts.
 
Used to play it over a year ago and pretty much haven't touched it since. I had a 22mil SP Caldari char. Fantastic game but never really had the incentive to start playing it again.

When I first started playing I did my learning skills first to level 5 and the advanced ones to level 4. Also added +1 and latter on upto +3 implants as and when i could afford. As I did this from the start it has helped me gain a lot more SP. Although setting alarm clocks for when the next skill change is due might also be a reason why :)

Bit of OT but what is this like for the casual gamer? I used to play wow very hardcore but after the expansion came out. I totally lacked interest (Plus the fact my 2 years of super hard work meant nothing). Now im on night shifts so it would be impossible for me to play wow now anyway. What is this game like playing a couple of hours a day?
 
Too many GM scandals for my liking, and the age of capitals/POS wars is like watching paint dry :s

Still have a curious urge to train though even after 3+ years, lol.
 
I'm trying to sell my character at the moment, threw a bit of a temper tantrum when I got podded and lost my full Crystal set :D.
