Epox 9nda3+

I am thinking of getting an opteron 170 as an upgrade to my opteron 144. Will I have any trouble in getting this dual core chip to work on my mobo.

Sorry to nag

but does anyone have any experience of Dual Cores and my motherboard. I have been on the Epox website and I can't find a definitive answer. I don't think the site has been updated recently for my board.

EPoX are dead although reincarnated as Supox.

If your board has a x2 supporting BIOS I would expect it to run it OK.

Ran a Epox 9NDA3+ and a Athlon 64 X2 4400 with no problems my brothers still using it
