Mini Cooper - Gay or not?!

Depends on the colour.

Most people who label them as gay are just jealous. For the money, the Cooper S in particular is a fantastic buy when bought brand new.

Someone was thinking of buying a brand new Mini.

Given their ridiculous second hand prices, the chances are if you're spening 7 or 8 grand on a MINI then you're hardly budgeting for a car. In my view if you're in that sort of money then you might be more tempted to buy one brand new which fits your exact wants. The thing is there are so many different combinations of roof colour, body colour, inside options etc. It is difficult to say that for a brand new car, the Cooper S is bad value either. Unless you're drawn into to spending on the plethora of useless extras, the base price of the car isn't that bad IMO.

The only Mini that impresses me is the Cooper S with the black roof and either black or gunmetal grey paint.

From a performance point of view I'm quite drawn by it, but I spent ages trying to make it look more masculine on the configurator.

Gray and black roof/stripes with the most expensive wheels is the way forward, but once I'm done configuring, it's up to £19.2k :o The Renaultsport 197 is only £15k and it's very slightly quicker but you do have to rev the nuts off it.

If I go for a MINI next I think it'll be a Cooper S, pepper white all over, lowered on gloss black Team Dynamics alloys.

They don't look that bad when coupled with decent wheels.

I have the original invoice for my JCW mini which shows the price to be £27k

Good job mine's all black then :)
although next week it'll be pink and white too.....

I really don't see how this car can be concieved of as being 'gay' or only driven by 'gay/homosexual people or women', I think your all being rather juvenile if your being serious if not then well ha ha ha this thread is hilarious :D

Whilst its hardly my choice of car (I doubt I'd fit in a mini for a start!) I don't think its gay at all, now a new VW Beetle thats gay!

The most gay thing is when you start them, you don't get a big bark from the exhaust, all you hear is some whiny power steering pump and high pitched fuel injection system buzzing.
