You have to play as the good guy and buy no health and eve upgrades. It also says not to buy additional plasmids. Remember plasmids aren't in the achievement just tonics.

I'm at work so don't have the link here to the xbox achievements guide for bioshock. I will put it on later if someone else doesnt.

Cheers guess i will play through at an easier difficulty and get that achievement then as i die too fast without health bonuses

When I got the achievement whilst playing through saving all the sisters at the point I got it I had 800+ adam sitting in my adam bank. So you're really safe to get quite a few of the health bonuses just don't go mad on buying plasmids

I was hoping the individual achievements may still count towards the total collection achievement PhD (in seperate game instances). I'll try just doing the LS and see what happens. Obviously I'll get the achievement for that bit, and I'll have my existing achievements for the rest, it's just the PhD bit that's...maybe. I'm not that bothered really if I don't get it as it's only a few points.

The Historian is a bit more valuable and obviously that wouldn't count across game instances.

Damn if I'd set this to hard I would have got the 1000 in one sitting. Got lucky with the tonics, didnt realise I had them all.

Just finished it, I'd give the whole game a solid 7.5/8 out of 10. Story was pap once you get to the ending. A real let down. About 5 seconds long.

Definately glad I bought and played it though.
