Hey
I ordered a corsair HX620 which wasnt working so I sent it back. Now it isnt in stock so I have to buy something else :(.Which one do you suggest? These are my specs:

Q6600
abit ip 35 pro
8800gts 640 OC
2gb crucial ballistix
2 hdds
1 dvd
watercooling

Please respond fast as I have to order it in the next 2 hours, thanks.

EDIT:They have in stock the HX520 but Im sure it doesnt have enough power for my rig and its not as future proof as the 620.Or not?

HX 520 should be enough unless your thinking of upgrading to SLI in the future, im running 3 sata HDD,1 sata DVDRW, 640MB 8800GTS, DS3R and soon to be watercooling on a 520 :)

I dont think that it is enough for some reason...My previous psu was 450W and I got it 2 years ago.I dont think I will be upgrading to SLI in the future, but with a new gfx/cpu the 520 will surely not be enough.

Antec Quattro's have been getting good reviews, not too expensive either. Otherwise a Silverstone OP/DA series.

I wanted to get a Corsair again but I cant wait until they get it in stock...Anyway,what do you think of SEASONIC M12-600 80 PLUS 600W?Oh and this one TAGAN TG600-U35 600W EASYCON XL

Seasonic are great PSU are very stable... you wont get many people that will have a bad word to say about them, I dont think I have heard of anyone sending one back

Tagans are generally pretty decent so I wouldn't be too worried about a lack of reviews at present. I think you were just unlucky with the Corsair. :)

Yes I was :(.I just run that extreme calculator test and the result is 330W..How is this possible?I might re consider the HX520.If you are 100%sure that it will be ok for my rig(which will be also overclocked)then Ill go for it.

I am 100% sure that it could power pretty much any single graphics card system without a problem however I could understand if you were wary about buying Corsair PSUs again, even one failure can be enough to put a doubt in your mind. :)

No I dont have a problem with corsair,if the 620 was in stock I would def get one.I just called them and they might have it in stock next week..The problem is that I am without a PSU for a week now(since I built my new rig last friday)and I cant wait any longer. On my old system I have a 2 year old Coolermaster 450W,which I plugged into my new system to see if the leds were lighing and they were fine.I dont know if its a good idea to use it until they have the corsair in stock..What do you think? Can it manage my new system?

Here's someone with a bad word to say about them. :p I had the Seasonic S12 650w Energy+ and the bloody thing blew up after only 4 months. Ironically it was the replacement for a blown Hiper that lasted 12 months. I would certainly think twice about buying another Seasonic after my experience.

I didnt order anything.I guess I will have to wait for the HX620 then,it will take another week but at least I will have a "mainstream" PSU.So what do you think of my current Coolermaster 450 truepower?Should I use it with my new rig or is it too dangerous?Do you think that it can handle it?

This might help:

No I wouldn't trust your system to that PSU. Even though it is rated as 450w it only has 22A on its 12v rails. Just for comparison the hx520w has 40A and the hx620w has 50A.

Alright, thanks. In case they dont have the 620 next week, can you recommend any good PSU's?What about the SEASONIC M12-600 80 PLUS?
EDIT:Case closed, just ordered the HX620 from another store.Lets hope that this one will work :)
