Couple of a mates 306...

All he's done is lower it, put bigass bling wheels on and a backback (or full system, don't see the point if he has though). Oh and those chav as **** stickers :p

Not hard but looks tidy if he changed the wheels imo.

You missed the worst bit... the headlights :p

The Ph3 crystal headlights are a work of art. Truely the best thing about the revision and always look eye catching

Why anyone would change them is a mystery imo!

The only things I don't like are......pretty much every mod he's done. Lose them and it would look sexy but it would also just be a standard 306. :D

Cyclones > * when it comes to 306 wheels.

He came round for me to do his engine bay for him so snapped a couple of (not very good) shots of it.

For a 17 year old lad, he's got his head screwed on when it comes to fettling with it, i think it looks spot on (although i am trying to convince him to remove the rear window sticker and sunstrip, and to paint the drums black)

Ok, it doesnt shout "hey, look at me" but its very subtle, and that i like, especially for a first car :)

are you blind?, its a chav mobile. Not in the same league as Phils car but its still chavvy.

As soon as he said this "For a 17 year old lad, he's got his head screwed on when it comes to fettling with it, i think it looks spot on " i was preparing for the worst.

Wheels look horrid, text on the rear window is just crap, sunstrip is gash, headlights need changing back to stock PH3 ones, and the best shape tail pipe for a 306 is a rolled square oval.

I love the colour, and the ride height.

Agreed, its really not that bad. Past tasteful but not the chavfest you drama queens are going on about! :p

Im loving how his sits. Ive had mine lowered on springs and shocks but im not happy with the back. Once ive got my new rear beam attached im havin the torshion bar lowered a touch

its not though, is it...

i certainly wouldnt have minded a p3 306 for a first car! its modified yes, but bar the sunstrips, its hardly chav.

Nice car but the wheels really dont suit it.

I tried to get him to buy Cyclones or Nimrods for it when he first told me he'd bought it, but the first thing he did was go to the local TSW suppliers and pick these out.

Nice tyres though - Yokohama Parada :)

Not keen on the colour myself - I prefer dark blue, or white. Tho black can also look good with black wheels.

Is the rear window steamed up or is it some strange tint thing?

I'd lose the sunstrips myself, but leave the drums alone. Nothing wrong with drums, they are better for things like handbrake turns. :D

The wheels are ok. I'm guessing they're 17's and it's been lowered? While this looks a bit better than stock alloys, it will be slower if you've got a weedy 1.4 under the bonnet. If you have a GTI6 (at 17 ), then you won't really notice the difference. Have a look at the speedline magnesium wheels - nice and light, but £300 each!

For a cheap brake upgrade, steal some GTI6 calipers, as they use 283mm discs instead of 266mm discs. I've recently managed to get some for my 205 (which uses 243mm discs), and you can feel the difference.
