As title?

I'm at a wedding in Birgmingham on the Saturday but have got 4 tickets so will be going up as early as possible on the Sunday - probably very hung over :D

It's my first time shooting motorsport so i'm not expecting much! If anyone has been before and knows what to expect, any tricks, good spots for shots around the track or whatever - please do share! :)
 
I will if I can get anywhere to stay, I'd rather go up the night before. Might just go mega early on Sunday though, means a 6am leave for me though :(
 
I got 4 tickets also.
but donnington is a far old drive.

and this sunday is the mini show at stanford hall. soo.... hopefully go to that instead.
i saw the renults at snetterton not long ago.

bit boring racing :P
btcc was the best there.

I havent paid much attention to the timetable but isnt the last race/event on about 4.30? Am i right in assuming there will be a massive crush to get out after that?

We're probably looking at getting there for around 1130 in the morning (not expecting to be up too early after the wedding celebrations, lol). Any problems with turning up then?
 
i will be there.

only got my kit lens and the sigma 10-20, neither which are too suitable - but might take the camera anyway for a play.
 
I'll be there all weekend (camping Friday / Saturday) , had a great time last year so got my fingers crossed :)
 
Im going, and went last year, we left before the last race started, and it took over 2hours to get out of the field. Didnt get amazing pics, but hoping for better this time around, also know where to park this time too ;)
 
Went in 2005 , met the Renault Team , great day ,but the weather was poor . Missed last year and gave my tickets away , but going on Saturday morning . Hope the weather is good .

I'll be there on the Sunday. Does anyone know what time the exits will start getting busy? Normally I'm not bothered about leaving before the crowds but I need to be somewhere Sunday evening so am keen to avoid getting stuck in traffic for an hour.

Weather forecast is 20 and cloudy...but no rain. I would say it will start to get busy leaving from 3.30 onwards as that is when the last Renault F1 display is. Think my aim will be to leave after the World Series race as I have things to do in the afternoon...should be ok to leave then.

Just got back to the North East this evening . It's been a fantastic weekend ,weather good and the venue even better .Seemed to be more freebies this time , radio ,stickers etc .I think there had been a good turn out judging by the amount of parked cars in the fields .Just goto download my photos & video to the PC when I get the time .
