Far cry x64

Hi

I am running far cry on xp x64 all patched up too 1.32 using both x64 patchs but i can't play online with these patchs because i belive i need 1.4 but the 1.4 patch is not x64 so i don't know what patch i need to have for 64 Bit content and be able to play online :confused:

Jesus H. Christ, if you'd like a decent response to your question try re-reading it and looking for grammar and spelling mistakes. Also, a little punctuation wouldn't go amiss!

I'd like to know too, what do I need ( wich files, patches etc...) to get facry to the latest version and 64bit mode?

Give the lad a break, you clearly understand him. He could be 7 or 37 years old but not all people are good with their grammar and dyslexia sometimes can be a cause. Be a little more understanding and a little less aggressive dude. Try and help not point out peoples downfalls - oh and be a little less negative and maybe he would have retyped his first post for you.

Nice sentiments. but Im PMSL at your last line

You cant play online in 64 bit mode. (64 bit OS)
You have to chose to play in 32 for MP or 64 for SP.

While you can import the 64 bit content to 32 bit, most servers will kick you for the additional files.
Theoretically you can launch the 64 bit version in 32 bit mode, but I havent tried that since 1.4 came out, I used a dual install.

I didn't think I was being aggressive?!

And I did give him some pointers to improve his posts, such as spelling, grammar and punctuation, all of which are easy to learn and / or easy to fix using a spell checker or similar!

grammar isnt really necessary but spelling is good to get right. after all we just want to make quick posts and get results, do we not?

Anyways i didnt realise this was a grammar post? lol. The poor lad just wanted to know about Far Cry on x64, instead he got a thrashing and a free English lesson.

But i have found out how to do it.

XP X64 or Vista X64

1. install farcry v1.0

2. farcry_amd64upgrade_us_uk 485 MB

3. farcry_amd64_ecu 421 MB

4. far_cry_v1.4_cumulative 180 MB

Works 100% w00t

Who would have thought windows 64 bit had a use. The actual changes are all fake though, they dont need 64 bit to do that. Wasnt there some hack to force it anyway?
