good xbox live game (360)

used to play black arrow back in the day, great community

whats a good game with a decent community with some decent banter, not a bunch of mutes huffing down the mic every few minuites
 
If you liked black arrow maybe Rainbow six vegas.

I preferred Black Arrow online though.

I enjoy Gears of War at the moment.

Ghost Recon 2 isn't too bad if you can get into a game without being kicked, You could always sign up for the CoD4 beta they are giving codes out on monday.
 
GoW, Halo 2, Rainbow 6 if you can stomach the appalling graphics, CoD beta (sign up!), GRAW2, Halo 3 soon, BF2. Unfortunately the 360 is a bit of an FPS box :(

Voice coms in all public games is just a slagging match so unless you're playing with very small teams there will be no problems in any games. The 360 seems to be very popular with teenage American kids so you're really not missing out on anything :p

Cheers, its the american brats that have put me off using voice comms.
 
R6 Vegas looks amazing on 1080p!

And is amazing online! Voice communication isn't necessary on any game really unless its 2 vs 2. But some hosts will kick you if you don't communicate.

I like putting them in their place :p

They're not the most quick witted of folk and use simple insults. They get wound up very quickly as you verbally stomp all over them whilst kicking their ass at the game too :p

I have no idea why they always start it though...

Are we playing the same game? Or are you only talking about single player?
 
Rainbow looks fine to me online, would certainly not consider it appalling, runs smooth too and great gameplay which is kind of the whole point I guess :)

Yeah, it flows very well indeed but I can't help but be distracted by the graphics, which is unlike me tbh. I think it's because the single player/coop is so pretty.
