**The Official BioShock Thread**

Thanks :)

I can't get all the audio things on this current game as I missed one that I can't get back to (during the Ryan golf-club meeting ;) )

To be fair i'm not sure they are worth it, 50 points for what has taken me 3 hours per level searching every room. I'm commited now though.

Just finished it.

What a wack ending!

No credits nothing, a short little FMV and straight to menu, no bleeding credits!?

Was ok i suppose not GOTY, got 850 points on one playthrough so thats ok i suppose. Doubt i'll play it again though.

Just finished an hour ago myself and yeah the ending was like wtf  especially after what had come just before that. A very good game but not as complete as I had hoped for, few glitches in there as well.

Yeah I thought the same, what a rubbish ending. Apart from the golf club bit the story didnt make me sit up and take notice. Infact I found the story pretty weak.

I part ruined the game for myself by not using enough guns/weapons but the wrench was just too easy to use while exploring the map and keeping moving.

Maybe the game shouldve dropped the wrench after the first level and had plenty of pistol ammo.

After all the warnings I'd read not to buy health upgrades so you have enough adam to buy tonics, I ended up with 1200 adam before the final fight so could have bought a lot more plasmids than I did.

Was a good length single player game though.

The wrench was the best weapon. On the last 3 levels i used that. I had this tonic that makes me mince people up with it and also had one that shoots electric spikes out to whoever hit me.

The story was a bit poor and too farfetched in my opinion. It would have been better if the guy just woke up out of a coma after the plane crash, then having a fat cut scene explaining things...

But no credits!?! I always watch the credits after a game, always.

I agree with 5bjoshua.

It just sets off the whole atmosphere and feeling of the game.

And some devs have a laugh with them, like EPIC.

Sombre music, then the cole train kicks in and all the employees funny messages scroll :D

Exactly, imo it winds the game down.

The thing is with Bioshock, it was all hectic on the last boss then an extremely short FMV while im still pumped (hehe :p) from playing the game then straight to the menu, so usually the credits calm me down and i can think about the game whereas with Bioshock i was left there looking at the menu for 10 seconds saying to myself "that was wack!"

For all the people complaining about the ending? WTF?!
The ending was brilliant! One of the best endings to a game I can remember in a long, long, long time. Outstanding.

I don't mind there not being any credits, however, saying that, if I'd worked on it I'd be annoyed that people wouldn't see my name :p.

I got the good ending and i thought it was excellent. Might play it through again after i've finished saints row again to see the bad ending.

May aswell just go on youtube to see the alternate ending. No point in playing the whole game for just a 1 minute FMV.

I did the good ending, saw the bad ending on youtube.

I got the mega bad ending because I killed the lot of them(and I'd do it again). I almost felt sorry for them at one point but overall I needed the juice :D

What lead up to the ending was superb but the actual 30 sec final cutscene was utter tosh, almost as bad as the crackdown one.
