Anyone know what the next BBC nature project is?

After the amazing Blue Planet and the even more awe inspiring, i want to quit my job and see these things Planet Earth (over done it there hehe). Whats next for the BBC nature teams? Any ideas or rumours would be very appreciated.

but, amazing post and sure the BBC will have an Ace up their sleeve (who must be almost, world leaders in their most amazing documentary genre)

If i could go anywhere for just 1 Month it would be Borneo.

If i could travel the world, it would be in anticipation of seeing the amazing waterfalls, upclose that our globe has to offer.

I feel the same, i really want to get around south east asia more, do more diving, and have a good camera for the fishes.

I also hope the bbc can come up with something great again. Is it right that they are going to release all the stuff on HD and BR formats for extra goodness?

Planet Earth has already been released on HD-DVD and Blue Ray by the BBC in the USA.

I just hope its not a series on birds. BBC wildlife is almost ruined slightly by their over obsession on birds.

Stop showing programmes on birds.....!

I'm not sure what the BBC have got in the way of other large-scale natural history programming, but Attenborough's next project will be Life in Cold Blood, exploring the lives of amphibians and reptiles. It could be his last major series, which would be a shame.

I thought Planet Earth was his last project - never knew he had another up his sleeve? Good news he has another.

His voice was just amazing, and I can't watch any other nature programme with the same enthusiasm as his work. I'd think Michael Palin's voice would be a good substitute - though it's a pity the latter man isn't a naturalist lol.
