New monitor/gfx question

Ok mate!

To summarise then -

Good choice on both the monitor and card. I would imagine stretching to a GTX or some similarly high specced future GPU would be a good idea.

I'm getting a 2nd hand Dell 2407 next week so i'll let you know how i get on with that and the GTX!

cheers an yeah theres a whole upgrade planed for the end of the year, just needed somthing to tide me over the holidays with some new games :D
 
well i decided to put it off till i could get a gfx card to do it justice, so now I've got it running with an 8800 ultra an q6600.

And i have to say this monitor is the most god damn butiful thing I've ever owned ;)

every time i turn it on i just can't help smilling and a lovley warm feeling. Managed to snag the last one of ocuk :D

Your 7600GTs are awesome Alan. I got 7161 in 3DMark 06 last night. Ultras get nearly 3 times more though. :)


Hate you so much now aswell really want to get one of them monitors now it looks freaking sweet.

Shame they dont come in black.

That a good or bad score ? >.>


Silver is better you dont notice the edge of the screen as much.
