Scientology to be Criminally Charged in Belgium

A process may be underway to charge the Church of Scientology with fraud and extortion, following a ten-year investigation into the religion that concluded it should be classed as a criminal organisation.

The charges were recommended by Belgian prosecutor Jean-Claud Van Espen, who mentioned 12 people should face charges, but did not name them to the press. The Church of Scientology said it would fight any charges.

The investigations were launched after numerous ex-members reported being bullied and extorted to Belgian police.

I do as a matter of fact, when I tried to find a religion which suited me I learned about scientology. I learned a lot about the philosophy behind it when I did my A levels too.
I decided my own religion was best, but i was gonna accept everyone elses anyway.

I mean come on, at least its half believable. Not like christianity or judaism or a number of other religions which make no sense.

not all believe in hell. Nothing says you will burn in hell if you don't pay it anyway. Some people pay it, some don't, some pay more. None of it is forced.

try right clicking and see if you have spell check this field selected.

lol would be funny in court to be honest. My initial though when I first heard about the "Church of Scientology" Is who do they prey to?

I also did the questionnaire on their website out of curiosity. It's about 100 questions but a lot of them seem similar. Is there anybody on OCUK who's a Scientologist????
