VW Camper Van Advice

Dear All,

I am thinking about buying a Volkswagen camper van and i was wondering if anyone here owns one themselves, or might have spent some time researching them before purchasing one. I could really do with some advice. My budget stretches up to a maximum of about £10,000.

My mate has two Splittys. He is away at a meet this weekend with one of them up for sale. He imports them from the States so they are leftys but Rust free. What do you want to know ?
Basically 10-12k will get you a Great Splitty 5-7k for a Bay & 2-5k for a Brick. Bricks are water cooled, bigger & go faster but are not as cool. Bays will do if you cannot stretch to a splitty but the Ulitmate Bus is a Splitty. One of my mates Buses is a Rat look splitty the other that he is selling is a Minta in an Off White.

Also there is No Alternative to a Splitty
