Can anyone recommend any good online CD sites, that are cheap?

I ask as music these days, as much as we like to say it isnt expensive, can suddenly get quite expensive when we realise how many cds we really need to get/replace.

Looking through my music collection recently, I realised there's dozens of CDs I'd like to pick up I never got round to, not to mention a couple that I need to replace due to run ins with the family (never lend a treasured CD to a brother etc:mad:)
CD WoW often used to get recommendations as a cheap place to pickup cds, however I read a while back they've now been stopped from selling cheap import cds (bloody copyright protectors, they were legal cds!) and the only places I can think of nowadays to get cheap CDs are that rainforest sounding place, and the place that sounds like something most of us do on our games consoles.

Anyone got any other good recommendations? If it makes a difference (in case anyone recommends specialists etc), the sorts of music I'll mostly be browsing for are rock, metal, alt metal etc, for example there's a few Sonata Arctica and Dragonforce albums I'd like to get hold of.

(I'm probably also going to have a look when I go to Camden in a few months.)

I think 'That Rainforest Marketplace' is probably the best between price/reliability in that you can always get a new cd cheap. Sometimes if you hunt around the label or artists' website you get linked to somewhere cheap but it's rare.

Agreed. Especally from retailers like Caiman USA etc. Usually very quick to arrive - the Marketplace is always my first stop for record shopping.

yep, thats where i get a good 90% of my cd's, very good for stuff thats a little harder to find on the more common sites as well.

Was helping someone out at a car boot sale this morning and picked up a load of CDs for like £3. There's a lot of crap but some people have some really good CDs.

Anyone ever used http://www.4cheapcds.com/? It seems really cheap, plus free delivery which makes me slightly dubious. I've found HMV to be relatively cheap recently (plus student discount :D) but the delivery times are shocking, and i'd rather pay a bit more to not wait 2 weeks.
