Just bought a PS3, First impressions from a high end pc gamer

Warhawk is aweomeness sent from the gods themselves. This is something you wont get on a pc. RE is Resident Evil. You need to play the fourth game. Get the Wii one if you can. RE4 is out on PS2 as well.
Highly recommend RE4 and WH. WH is download only right now about 800MB.

Well if you think it is a joke then tell me just one thing a 360 or a PS3 can do better than a High end PC I will answer it for you nothing.
Where to start...
Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy, Mario, Zelda, Pokemon, Warhawk, Ninja Gaiden, Blue Dragon, Halo, Dead Rising, Metroid Prime, Resident Evil, etc. etc.
The list goes on...
So lets assume that these forums are only used by 12 year old kids?
Shall we also forget that a lot of the users discovered these forums because they bought components so they could build their own PC's?
I've used bold on those words just to help you with the illusion you are suffering from
So why aint you got a 360 or PS3 as your PC is not high end, or cant you afford either

You are just naming games that have come out for the 360 and PS3
If you wan't to do that i can name ones that are PC only ,Enemy Territory: Quake Wars ,Half Life EP2 ,Crysis ect
But i did not wan't to now that i was says WHAT CAN THEY DO THAT A PC CAN'T DO BETTER nothing to do with games.

the mistake your making is that your not thinking "what is this box designed to do", they are designed to play games (and multimedia on).
Consoles have AAA+ exclusive titles associated with them, which are not available on a PC (and to be fair vice versa) so ultimately you are forced to choose between the software you actually want to play before deciding which "box" to buy.
Who said my PC is not High end
I would not consider a 6800 a top end gfx card sorry

Nah M8 i have 2 systems One SLI 6800 GS and one with a 8800 320mb but i do talk about the 6800 gs s abit on ocuk i love them don't know why tho they just keep on going lol

oh thats rubbish. you need to stop with the antagonising comments regarding wealth or lack of. if you cant have a sensible discussion id suggest you dont bother, because you wont last long on here.
Eh he is the one saying we only have a console because we cant afford a high end PC
seems he cant either, which makes his point silly, get with it and read before jumping in without knowing the debate
Think he means in terms of graphical and hardware prowness. But on the literal side of things, PCs have far far better racing sims and fighters than the PS3. I don't think it's exactly smart to reference an example of a PSP game ported to the console either.
On a tangent though, I think Warhawk absolutely stomps on the jerkwad/lagfest that is Battlefield 2/2142.
