Glowrings

Has anyone got one of these? They glow for up to 10 years with no batteries needed!
The light comes from a radioactive source (iridium) and an internal lining of phosphorus, which is apparently very safe. I'm don't think they give off that much light but having something radioactive on your keys is very appealing!

nope, link to where you get them from? could be useful for those drunk dark nights, trying to find the door key.

Not sure if they are considered competitors but the online gadget places sell them, just google/froogle 'Glowring'.

I had one of these for little over a year and it stopped glowing, so I'd take the "Up to ten years" with a pinch of salt

i've had one of these for a fair few years now, not that exact one but pretty much the same, they're pretty cool for finding your keys in the dark, still glowing okish

the more light it gets during the day the better it shines at night.

I bought one from IWOOT and it was barely glowing when I received it. I could barely see it in a completely dark room. Went straight back to them...
