a little up grade

looking in to a little up grade, would you lads please give me your thoughts.

is this card over kill and would a gtx or gts do? or how about a ati 2900, im thinking of cost as well.

any pointers or any comments welcome, will this all run on xp as i dont want vista yet, or is it time that ive got to?.

the pc is used for every thing from games to video.

Yeah get rid of the Ultra, the 8800GTX is easily enough for games and will be for a while. I'd also replace that Antec PSU and get a Corsair HX520W (it's enough to power that whole system even if only 520w).

Rest of the machine looks great though

Yeah, the ultra is not worth the extra pennies. The Corsair is also a sterling PSU
