Best pc golf game, dont laugh

Ive just put tiger woods 2003 back on my pc, and ive set the res to 1920x1200, and im not joking, i think its the best golf game out, graphics are ok and the game itself is pretty good.

Ive had 2004,2005,2006,2007, and 2008, i think the graphics have got worse over the years.

2004 isnt to bad , but for me it has to be 2003.
 
Once played tigerwoods 2003 or 2004 on xbox i loved it and simple controls. I tryed same one on pc and the interface was crap so never played it. Was a real shame. :(
 
I have tried the Woods golf games but i didnt think they were anything special.

How ever the golf game i do like is Microsoft Links 2003, fantastic golf game. Well worth trying it out if you havent already.
 
I definately agree about the graphics of the Tiger Woods games, 2008 looks terrible when you first start it up, put me right off playing it.
 
Tiger woods 08 on the pc looks terrible, the difference between the visuals compared to the 360 version are shocking, i would expect the pc version on highest settings to look better.
 
great! im getting tw08 as we speak.....
07 was a strange one that even on a better than avge card it still had all sorts of random glitches. I was hoping this would be better.
 
wow, EA really do suck at times don't they. What with this and the new FIFA game both looking little to no different to versions from 4-5 years ago. Folk must be mad to keep buying them.

2nd that, fantastic game, great laugh with a few of you.

Sawgrass was probably my favourite course due to the fact the holes are so straight.

Takes me back, may have to get the Mega Drive emulator again and find that little beauty of a game.
 
Also, to add, my mate has TW2008 on a 1950XTX and for some reason the game hangs if he has the colour set to 32bit.

At 16bit and full settings it is fine, very strange. Quite tough too if u use the true swing with the mouse as is well hard to get a perfect swing, nearly always slicing or hooking the damn thing.

I prefer 2004 or 2005 to the more recent tiger's 2007-2008 although i got 2008 for pc yesterday and i am having a nightmare trying to play it because i click the shortcut it starts to load then minimizes to the taskbar and when you click on it nothing happens so you just have to close the program even though its not working properly :mad:think i might put 2005 back on my pc .

A bit random but do you have xboxstat.exe process running? That cropped up on my system when I installed the drivers for a 360 gamepad (which I bought to play DiRT) and if that's running the same thing happened to my game. Closed it and I could alt tab as normal.
