**The Official Medal of Honor: Airborne Thread**

Got the game on saturday and finished the game that afternoon. Disappointed at the length tbh, only took a few hours from start to finish. The graphics on full look pretty decent though, especially in the last level when your parachuting in. Didn't get any stuttering and frame rate wasn't too shabby either.
Game gets too easy when you get the shotgun though, absolute overkill and will be a complete **** in mp (assuming its there? havent bothered yet seeing ass most servers are pusing 100ms for me..)

I haven't been able to select the shotty in multiplayer.

I found this game far to short. Enjoyed it whilst it lasted tho and yet to try the MP section of the game yet. Waiting for my new GFX to arrive first.

Agreed it's far too short.

Though I suppose the last level on the hardest setting might be fun.

Multiplayer not too bad. I find that there are a lot of bottlenecks in some of the maps where all the players congregate around the same areas. The remade map with the Church is a prime example.

I did try mp quickly but it was very laggy at the time, so i didnt spend much time on it. I can imagine it'll be a lot better with dedicated servers. Doubt it'll be long.

I'm currently on the last level. Played through the whole thing on the hardest setting so far and it gets pretty difficult in places. It's challenging but not too annoying, it would be much less so if you didn't have to wait for it to load every time you die, specially if you land in a bad place and die straight away or get sniped out of the sky.
From the demo I thought even expert would be too easy but I only managed to get 5 stars in the first mission; 2 for the next 3 and no stars at-all for the 5th one. Think it will be easier playing them through a second time though. The final one is a case of land, try and get one objective done then die and try and repeat until done atm.

Tried a couple of multi games but couldn't connect to most of them and when I do it's a lagfest :D. What I played was pretty good though.

Just installed this on my rig (in sig) and i have the latest beta drivers for my gfx and the jump training at the start works fine, after that it goes into a briefing room and i am holding a piece of paper, then when the paper is lowered everything just stays black, i can hear all the noises but nothing to see :( anyone else had this problem?

Loads of people having problems with this game, vista x64 isnt supported so its hit and miss if you can get it to run.
I can get into the game but it stutters like crazy, thinking of dual booting into xp and giving that a try.

I've also got this problem. Tried Vista x86 and Vista x64, neither worked. Also tried many different drivers.

Odd thing is, the first time I played, everything was ok. Eg, at the parachute training, everything in the plane is bathed in either red or green light depending on which bulb by the door is lit. Now when I play, the bulb changes colour but doesn't light anything. It's like there's no lightsource.

One more thing...

When I start the game in 1680x1050, it says this res might be too high but I continue. Then it decides to change res to 1280x1024 anyway. This also used to work ok and my rig can run it at 1680 no problems at all.

does anyone know how to disable the motion blur effect? its fine on my crt pc but the lcdtv ends up too blurry since its lcd and has slow response compared to my crt.

I was really really hoping that it didn't end when it did, the Flakturm mission was great, extremely cool, most of the game was, but the length is just pathetic, not good enough at all.

Like it so far although I have to play it on 800x600 (lol) and low models...

Great they keep ww2 alive, with any other fps game I get bored to death and can't play it for longer as 30 minutes, but in ww2 games I always play for hours n Hours :d.
Shame its so short, halfway through market garden on normall dificulty atm, so already did half the game :(.
Although my framerate sometiems ( especially in cutscenes) drops to like 5 for a sec or so, all the responces are smooth.
Anyone else find the stg 44 overpowered ( not that I mind, its one of my favorite guns :))?
I don't use post processing btw, any blur imo is rubbish, I hate blur in games.

Is the bioshock drivers problem only in vista x64? as in xp 32 both bioshock and moh:a are fine with the bioshock drivers.

How can I turn shadows off?. System be getting on abit now :( and shadows are normally first thing i get rid of to get better performance , but can't work out how. The in game options along with the launcher are crap and offer pretty much nothing but basic options .

In MOHAGame\Config , in the defaultlaunchersettings.ini , there is reference to them , in the line bAllowDynamicShadows=True. I've tried setting it to false and it pretty much ignores it and keeps em on anyway.

So how do i get rid?. Console command?, another config file?.

Thanks.

I think you have to disable the post processing effects.

your right, i put post processing down from full to simple and the motion blur is gone. everything looks sharp and dandy now.
man is this game cpu limited i guess, in places my [email protected] runs proper smooth but when even a couple of guys turn up not even firing the game gets laggy.

my main rig runs it fine though so its got to be cpu power.

I hope they sort out the multiplayer soon as its starting to get my goat trying to connect to matches. Anyone know why the pings are always 0?

edit: yeah 100 posts!

omg how crap is that. I thought the maps for the missions were well thought out and constructed, but they must have had one guy making them since development began to have basically 6 missions and thats it :(

typical EA I suppose the original MOHAA was pretty long to be fair with again good missions in a mix of locations but this is a very poor effort!
