Bread is not proof someone owns a car. Thats the whole point in the bread thing. Stop asking for bread, it was funny a year ago, then everyone got the wrong end of the stick and ran off with it.

Sounds the same as the FAIL/EPIC FAIL crap that people keep spouting. Still waiting for that to die a horrible death.

Oh yes please! But now the sheep have all started using brackets

Keep it in the **** hole that is GD and it'll be fine.

The bread thing is funnier, they all seem to think bread = proof you own a car when actually it was just an OTT way of showing how putting a sandwich on a car was not proof you owned it.

271bhp, 0-60 7.1, 155mph electronically limited.

Oh! Way less than I first imagined after seeing the quad exhaust setup :p

I was thinking around the 350 mark, still very quick though I bet she weighs a fair bit :)

1900kg IIRC.

That includes the default payload, which is basically 400 kilos of imported out of date ready meals from the cash and carry to go onto the dusty dirty slightly wonky shelves of the cars owner, who has a string of Mace corner shops.

Stereotyping? With my reputation? :p

Look how much he paid. Less than a new Corsa. It's not how much you earn, its how you spend it :)

Aye but at 22 you would be doing well to buy a new corsa or anyother 10k+ car outright. Let alone the house he has in a prior thread in GD.

Just curious thats all. I agree that hes spent his money on a nice car. :)

Lovely car. Funnily enough I bought my CL500 in exactly the same colour on an impulse purchase a couple of years ago.

To give you an idea of the running costs, if the 4.3 is like the 5 then you'll be looking at the cats in the exhausts going at around this mileage - mine did and I hear it is very common. Costs about £2.5K to get it done from a Merc main dealer but under a grand if you know a friendly independant. Servicing from an indy is about £400 for a minor service and double that for a major one. Brakes and pads all round for me was about £500 I *think* (don't have the invoices in front of me) Keys are about £80 - £150 depending on whether you want a keyless go or a proper one and I can't think of anything else I've spent on except normal consumables. Hopefully you'll see better than my 18mpg, although probably not by much!

I think they're pretty well put together considering it was Merc's worst period for build quality. Hope you have a good time with it - you'll have great fun leaving hot hatches in your wake at traffic light GP if that's your sort of thing. They never expect people in luxobarges to pull away smartly at the lights.
