Tis an oldie, 1999. FSH and 80k on the clock though, plenty of life left in the old dog yet!

Acid - its not purple, go and sit in the naughty corner :( TBH i think its that lighting, it looks black under all artificial light, and very slightly maroon under sunlight.
 
But surely big barges like that rack up the miles easily. If they have been well maintained, I don't see why not. Although maybe for a bit less than 7K.

Nice car Jez. Ive never been a fan of Mercs, but that one looks pretty nice, they make excellent cruisers I imagine.

They do, but I would still be worried about all the suspension and steering components at that mileage, even if it's mainly motorway, all though that would help.

I've bought magazines and DVD's "On Impulse" before but never a Merc :eek: :)

As others have said, not a Merc-fan per se but nice colour and love the styling of that model- enjoy
