House aerial help required! (Tesla?)

Morning all, moved into my student house but theres no aerial point in my room. i've 'invested' (read wasted!) £30 on the beefiest indoor aerial i could find, and its not up to much.

The aerial from the roof aerial runs to down stairs, but the actual cable runs just outside my window on the outside of the house. Can i splice into this at all? I guess ill need fancy crimpers and things? Suggestions folk?

you would have to cut it and either splice in a t-piece or a booster with multiple outputs.

Ask the bottom flat if they mind first though.

Whatever you do make sure you ask the landlord because if his an ahole he could keep your deposit no matter how good of a job you do!!

Yeah knowing my luck this is exactly what happens, its whether he's happy for the aerial to dangle through the window i guess

. I spose I'll get in touch with him and see what happens.

If he says ok if a proper engineer installs it, ie splices and through the wall, estimates on costage?

cost my parents £120 to get aerial, booster and cables ran into 4 rooms.
