I wonder how many more years BMW need produce non-M3/M5 cars with M branding somewhere on them before people actually realise that M is not the same as M3? It's been 21 years so far..

:O I always thought the M Sports had better bodykits etc but the one i posted above had none of the sports kit I could see :/

1 Series bodykit isn't anything special and is quite easy to not notice.

The M badges fitted at the factory always on the left?

Ive seen a few E39's with them on the right where the model should be. Looks a little odd.

Fox yours has the M badge on the left does'nt it?

i actually thought the bmw sports ( m ) didnt really come with rear M badges. i know the steering wheels have the m badge but not actuall on the rear of cars.

that isn't a Z06, in fact it isn't even a C6, it's a C5.

The dealer-fit M badges usually replace the model inscription. I think, personally, that this looks cack.

Yea, becuase I thought the 'right' way to fit them was cack

Although I did notice one at my local dealer the other day on the sales forecourt with the badge in the same place as it is on mine. Perhaps it differed from dealer to dealer. They were always a dealer-fit option and not a factory-fit option, though.
