Don't think it was a convertible, would a convertible have different coloured roof ? If so then it wasn't.

Some private plate though. Whats that all about? Whats the point of spending money on a plate like that?
Hardly odd to see private plates around that make no sense to the average person is it.
Talking about E Types, Ive seen one go past work a couple of times recently. Cream coloured one. Looks the business and sounds like it too 
Ive also see an orange Clio knocking around too which looks shocking. Its bright orange, its not even a decent shade like the new ST's and S3's Ive seen. Its also fitted with a 'wide' V6 body kit. The wheels inside the arches are shocking. Dont fit at all. The car looks like its on stilts. It sounds crap due to the huge exhaust it has, its got no power, probably a 1.2 or something.
Its one of the most shocking cars Ive seen in a while. Will try and get a picture of it when I next see it.
I saw an unusal sight on friday night after work at the pub in the center of town. I was at the back of the weatherspoons. First off there were a guy just stood in the middle of the car park across the road, not near any car with a radio in his hand, talking to someone. Then a couple of black XJ's turned up with some rather expensive private plates on them. ABU 1 being one iirc. There were only one driver per car, the guys were all kitted out in black suits, look liked something off the Godfather or something
They reversed parked into some bays right opposite it us. About 30 seconds later another 6 black cars turn up. Couple more XJ's, an S Type, RR Vogue and a 5 series. All black. Was thinking something is a little strange. Looked like a drugs meeting or something. By this time there were around 9 black cars all lined up, reversed parked together. All with private plates. Most with initial's and the number '1'.
It was a couple mins later when another 'batch' turned up. This time 2 dark red, Audi A6's, a dark blue Volvo S60 and another black RR Vogue with a badge on the side, which looked like something do with the Queen. I thought, the bloody Queen has come to brilliant Ashton-under-Lyne
Turned out to be only the Major or someone high up in the council. He and all the other guys went off to the town hall for a meeting or something.
Looking at all the cars, it looked like they had spent a fair bit of tax payers money on the cars and private plates.

It has a stupidly massive rear wing and you are commenting about the bumpers (which looks standard on the back)
