Lets just say that aslong there are people doing innocent target practice there are illegal guns on the street. Can you honestly say that your "thrills" are worth that?

I don't know what fairly land idea you're getting that from...criminals use ILLEGAL IMPORTED WEAPONS. Legally owned guns are locked away, criminals don't use legally owned (stolen) weapons.
banning legal firearms doesn't do a jot to gun crime.
Care to say that because drugs like crack etc are illegal then there is no drugs of those in the uk?

2 of the sickest and shocking events to happen in the UK and all legal guns, having guns legal and for anyone to buy is just giving unstable people the chance to kill many many innocent people in a short space of time.

In the UK, a good proportion of rifle ranges are outdoors, and some even go up to more than 1000 meters. We can't use Bin Laden targets, because it's against the law to shoot at anything resembling the outline of a human.

This is why I like visiting my mate's who are in the US military when I'm on holiday. You get to shoot all the latest mil-spec weaponary on the base's ranges, including the awesome Mk.119 40mm fully automatic grenade launcher on the outside firing ranges. 
Computers are used all the time to break the law with child pornography, theft and scamming people... should we all have them removed as well?
Legally owned kitchen knives have been used to kill people, i'm sure you have a knife in your house.
How about baseball bats, stop an entire sport should we? Essentially your on about stopping rifle shooting (also a sport) because a select few individuals have killed others with them (like people have with baseball bats).
Your view is irrational and inprecise. I like a lot of other people know how much fun it is to go to a specifically designed environment and "play" with the guns there. Think of it as a more manly form or darts. The place i went to had metal targets some of which had little triggers which upon being shot set off fun effects like flames out of volcano's. I also own an air rifle, which has never been used to shoot someone, never been stolen from its locked cabinet and has never been displayed in public... should i not be allowed one despite being a very careful and respectful owner? Its great fun to go to a nearby farm with a friend and shoot paper targets in a safe and quiet environment, especially if you get a better score than them.
If a gun is in the right hands, it can be appreciated and enjoyed responsibly without harm or danger to others. Its just another type of sport.

Oh man. I really envy you. I'm a massive firearms enthusiast (as you can see from my contributions to the "gun control" thread over in the speakers subforum) and you've really got me in the mood for a wee trip to Vegas. I'm a member of a rifle club. Our rifle range is much longer than the one in the video, but we're restricted to "smallbore" rifles.
I'd love the chance to shoot full auto. That M4 has my name written all over it (actually, I think it's actually an NFA registered M16A1 lower reciever with an M4 upper reciever, rather than a "true" M4, but still!
PS: You're certianly not a bad shot, especially if this was your first time. You seem to be ok with pistols, but your shotgun skills were...questionable.
That's not me firing the shotgun, I was a better shot than that with it
The M16 was a 9mm version, they had the proper .223 Army version there as well though.
Gaijin, the gun range is called The Gun Store and it's at 2900 East Tropicana, most of the cabbies seemed to know where it was.
The pistols were about $20 with 2 clips, although the Deagle was $40 with 5 rounds. Machine guns were about $40 with 25 rounds.

O yea just for all the anti gun people, you can not buy any of the guns shown in the video (except hand guns and shot guns) and the gun shop was very secure, everyone that worked there had a pistol with 2 spare clips of ammo so I don't think you'd get very far if you tried to steal one!
Petrol driven chainsaws could do a fair amount of mess in a unstable persons hands. Ever seen texas chainsaw massacre?
Stop blaming something which you cannot stop onto a item, which removed won't stop it either. No matter what you do if a looney wants to kill people he will, unless you try and ban everything. A bus driver could drive off a cliff delibretly with children on board. How do you plan to make sure this never happens? Perhaps don't employ bus drivers?
What if a looney goes into a school with a petrol chainsaw? If you were a outdoor lanscaper would you agree with a ban on all chainsaws, even though if would result in your losing your job, your house and your family?

People like you just seen guns and start to sweat. When I told people I've shot guns they said "Why aren't you in prison for murdering people?" It's that mindset that idiot people think they're making the world better, but really they're just on a power trip.

you've been watching too many movies.
British Police Force use G36's now instead of MP5's. As far as i know, M4's are CQG weapons and so are G36's. Just like the SA80 and M16 is more medium to long range, which is why they are used by the Military.
